What to remember of the 2013-2014 season at Mont SUTON:

The opening days and the snow precipitations
Even if Mont SUTTON did not confirmed the last day of the season, this ski resort is already above the average of the days of operations, with 148 opening days this winter. Mont SUTTON – well-known for its legendary glades and its microclimate generous in snowfalls – received snowfalls every week from December to April, especially in February, March and April. Skiers and snowboarders were able to enjoy an unbelievable month of April on the slopes, with an amazing cover of snow for this time of the winter. Thanks to this great cover of snow, Mont SUTTON had until mid-April the highest number of trails opened over the past 12 years.

Boutique, rental and repairs
With the opening of the new Boutique Expérience SUTTON at the base of the mountain, of the Rossignol Experience Rental Center and the repair shop, Mont SUTTON has exceeded its objectives. For example at the Boutique Expérience SUTTON, the new eco-design reminding the mountain’s history and the high-end boot fitting lab attracted a lot of curious. The Rossignol Experience Rental Center’s one-stop-shop – allowing to book a lesson, buy a lift ticket and rent equipment in a one transaction – allowed a faster and easier transaction. Mont SUTTON reached its goal by reducing the time spent at the rental for even more time on the slopes and a better overall experience, which received a lot of positive comments from customers.

At the Snow School
The new personalized Daycare School packages with a private lesson got to be very popular, which resulted in even more toddlers on the slopes! The SUTTON Snow School sold 3 times more Daycare School packages this year, comparing to last year! Not to mention the initiation packages (ski, snowboard, telemark, snowscoot) which increased of 39% compare to last year. Like what Mont SUTTON, which is often known as a mountain for advanced skiers, also addresses needs of beginners!
Mont SUTTON recommends to skiers and snowboarders to wait before storing their skis, because the mountain might re-open this weekend and/or the next one, favorable conditions allowing. Nothing has been confirmed yet. The decision will be announced by the end of this week on montsutton.com and on  facebook.com/montsutton.
