Blue Mountain Press Release — With weather and conditions on our side for snowmaking throughout this week, Blue Mountain Resort is pleased to announce an opening day of Thursday, December 9, 2010.
 
Over 30 centimetres of natural snow is expected to fall within the next 48 hours adding to the already abundant natural snowfall.  In addition, the largest snowmaking system in Canada, capable of producing one ft. acre of snow per 16 minutes; and our specialized crew of Snowmakers and Groomers are hard at work to establish optimal snow conditions.
 
Provided, the current conditions remain steady throughout the week, we will be on track for opening on December 10th. Terrain accessed by the Silver Bullet in the Village will be open Friday at 9:00 a.m. Please find the latest snow and conditions update on Blue Mountain’s website at www.bluemountain.ca/conditions_snow_report.htm.
